Okay well, I guess I'm just gonna tell you my story.
So what the hell do I tell you? Hmmm?! Well if you haven't already seen it, my name is Erik Arreaga. I've been known to go by the pen name "Phour Nyne Guy". Yes that says "four"...."nine"...."guy". What does "Phour Nyne" stand for? Well your just gonna have to get to a convention that I'm appearing at, come to my table, and ask me yourself.
I'm not gonna say that I've always wanted to be an artist, but I've been doing it for sometime now. I can remember creating weird crazy characters when I was a kid (4-5 years old) and just having fun with it. I enjoyed doing it, but didn't really think of it as a real life goal. It wasn't until Junior High that I really started to have a strong passion for the stuff. I began drawing more in class, not paying attention to my school work, and....blah....blah...blah, the jist of my childhood and teenage years, was to become an artist. Lets fast forward to now shall we?
My main way of getting my stuff out is by conventions. I've been doing cons for the past 15 years or so. I've been with other companies, partnered up with friends, and now doing much of it alone. Being a Cali guy I do mostly west coast cons(Comic Con, Wonder Con, APE, Wizard, etc.). I've been trying to get out to you east coast folk, but prayers just don't seem to rack up flyer miles! I'll get out there, I promise!
Not really sure what else to say. My favorite color is green, I drive a SUV, I believe we're gonna die in 2012....um.... if you really want to know my thoughts, just ask.
